Ride on a converted fishing boat to Khao Yao Island which belongs to the Mu Koh Phetra National Park. Cruise through turquoise waters with stunning coral reefs and marine creatures.
Make the first stop at Ao Fossil on Koh Lin Te. Here you can learn about the rich geological and cultural diversity of this place. Hike along the jungle trail to the viewpoint where you can spot many Palaeozoic fossils of marine animals. Enjoy a spectacular view of the surrounding islands and make a selfie in front of a rock hole in a heart shape.
Continue by boat along the coastline of Koh Khao Yai and stop at a private beach for lunch. Then it's time to explore the abundance of the pristine nature of this island on a sit-on-top kayak.
The highlight of this eco tour is a stop at Prasat Hin Pan Yod. It's like a natural fortress with an open roof. You can only enter the sinkhole by kayak through rock archways. Once inside, you feel like in a castle with thousands of peaks surrounding you.
On the way back to the pier you can admire a long stretch of sandbars at Talay Waek.
Satun UNESCO Global Geopark is known as a peaceful place of great natural beauty.
