What to expect
The sunset kayaking trip in Ao Thalane is a great way to experience the beauty of Krabi's mangrove forests and coastline. The tour starts with a pick up from your hotel in Ao Nang or Krabi Town, and then a short drive to the kayak center in Ao Thalane. After a brief safety briefing, you'll be given a kayak and life jacket, and set off on your adventure.
Start paddling and cross the river to the mangrove covered forest where you will enter the Din Daeng canyon. Explore the narrow channels and hidden coves and spot some wildlife, such as monkeys, crabs, and fish. After about 3 hours of kayaking, you'll reach a secluded beach where you can see the sunset over the Andaman Sea. Head back to the pier and enjoy a delicious BBQ dinner in a seaside restaurant.
This trip is the perfect activity for couples, families, and friends who want to enjoy nature to the full without the crowds. You'll relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility of this beautiful spot.

- 15:00 - 15:45: Hotel pickup in Krabi
- 15:45 - 16:20: Meet the staff and get paddle instructions
- 16:20 - 17:00: Start paddling from the pier and enter the canyon
- 17:00 - 18:45: Kayak through mangrove forest, limestone caves and lagoons
- 18:45 - 19:00: Head back to the pier
- 19:00 - 20:00: Enjoy a BBQ dinner in a restaurant
- 20:00 - 20:30: Transfer back to the hotel

Important Information
- Bring a towel, swimwear, sunscreen, sun hat, sunglasses, flip flops and camera.
- Wear flip flops or water shoes in case there are shells or rocks on the sand and shorts rather than pants as the water level may be above the knees when hopping off/on kayak.
- This tour is not recommended for pregnant women, infants under 2 years or people with back or neck problems.
- The BBQ dinner is not included in the price, please book the add-on.
