Krabi's must-see tropical island getaways
Highlights
- Explore the Princess Cave and admire the spectacular limestone cliffs

- Enjoy sunbathing and swimming in the coral reef at Poda Island
- Snorkeling with colourful reef fish at Chicken Island
- Walk along the sandbanks and admire the tropical fish at Tup and Mor Islands
What to expect
You will be picked up at your hotel in the morning between 8am and 9am – depending on where your hotel is located. After that our driver will bring you to the pier at Noppharat Thara Beach, where our staff from Krabi Blue Marine Tour will await you with a welcome coffee or tea.
Now you have an approximately 30-minute longtailboat ride ahead of you to get to the first stop of the tour at Tup Island - sometimes also written as Tup Island. It lies between Chicken Island and Koh Poda, and actually consists of two small islands, Koh Mor and Koh Tub. They are are connected by a sandbar which is ideal for walking and splashing during low tide.
The second stop is Koh Gai, better known as Chicken Island or Koh Poda Nok. The name comes from a rock at the southern end, which with some imagination resembles the head of a chicken. There you can snorkel and relax on the beach, or walk over the sandbar at low tide, just like on Koh Tub.
At midday you will have a Thai style lunch on Koh Poda at a white sandy beach with turquoise water. The north of Koh Poda with the island Koh Ma Tang Ming in front of it, where you look towards the mainland of Krabi, is the most popular place on the island. With little bit of luck you can also see colourful fish while swimming here.
Continue to Phra Nang Cave Beach, the last stop of the tour. The scenery of Phra Nang Cave Beach is gorgeous with limestone cliffs, fine sand, turquoise water and is definitely one of the most beautiful beaches on the mainland of Krabi. But visitors don’t just come for a swim, they also go climbing on the rocks or visiting the Phra Nang Cave (also known as Princess Cave) with the famous Penis Shrine.
