What to expect
Your adventure begins with a convenient hotel pickup, whisking you away to the historic Thung Yee Peng Pier. After a brief safety orientation, you’ll step aboard a traditional Thai longtail boat. As you glide through the winding waterways of the mangrove forest, keep your eyes peeled for local wildlife, including inquisitive macaques and colorful kingfishers that call this protected sanctuary home.
As the afternoon light begins to soften, you’ll switch gears and hop into a kayak. Paddle your way toward the stunning Laem Kho Kwang, a picturesque point where the river meets the sea. Here, you’ll be treated to a front-row seat as the sky transforms into a canvas of fiery oranges and deep purples. Enjoy a delicious dinner served right on the beach, allowing you to soak in the tranquil atmosphere and the cooling evening breeze.
The magic doesn't end when the sun goes down. After a relaxing longtail boat ride back toward the pier, you’ll embark on a final, ethereal kayaking session. In the darkness of the mangroves, you’ll witness the natural wonder of bioluminescent plankton. With every stroke of your paddle, the water comes alive with shimmering blue sparks—a truly "bucket list" experience that feels like paddling through the stars.

Important Information
- Bring a towel, waterproof bag, swimwear, sunscreen, sun hat, sunglasses, flip flops and a camera.
- Wear flip flops or water shoes in case there are shells or rocks on the sand and shorts rather than pants as the water level may be above the knees when hopping off/on the boat.
- Ensuring your safety is our top priority. To that end, we strongly recommend wearing a life jacket throughout the entire boat ride to the islands and while snorkeling.
- Shorts are ideal as they dry quickly and allow for greater freedom of movement, especially if the water level reaches above your knees when getting on or off the boat.
- This tour is not recommended for pregnant women, infants under 2 years or people with back or neck problems.
- Longtail boats navigate close to the shoreline, allowing passengers a convenient and effortless transition to the beach.
- If you prefer not to kayak, you have the option to take a round-trip tour through the mangrove forest by longtail boat. Please request this option prior to your tour.
