Begin your adventure with a convenient pickup from your hotel lobby, whisking you away to Sangthong Tour's office. There, meet the friendly crew and receive a comprehensive briefing about your snorkeling tour for the day. Your guide will then escort you to Mae Haad Pier.
Your first underwater odyssey kicks off at Koh Nangyuan, a stunning trio of islands nestled off Koh Tao's northwest coast. Stroll along the iconic sandbar connecting these island gems, then conquer the viewpoint atop the highest peak for breathtaking panoramas. Immerse yourself in the crystal-clear waters, exploring the vibrant marine life at various swimming areas. The renowned Japanese Garden beckons with its diverse fish population, while other spots offer tranquil havens for relaxation.
As you journey to Mango Bay, indulge in a delectable Thai-style lunch buffet aboard the boat. This picturesque bay, aptly named for its past abundance of mango trees, boasts dazzling turquoise waters teeming with marine life. Shallows near the beach and a sandy seabed paint the water with mesmerizing hues, making Mango Bay a prime snorkeling destination.
Next, navigate to Hin Wong Bay on Koh Tao's eastern shore, where majestic boulders guard secrets beneath the waves. Discover thriving coral gardens, vibrant anemones, and a kaleidoscope of fish hiding among underwater pinnacles. The crystal-clear waters offer a chance encounter with mesmerizing schools of sardines darting through shimmering blue, chased by hungry trevally in depths no greater than a meter.
Aow Luek awaits, aptly named for its deep, bowl-like shape and ideal snorkeling conditions, even during low tide. Prepare to be captivated by stunning landscapes – a pristine white sand beach, water shimmering with various shades of blue, and the silhouette of Shark Island in the distance.
Before returning to the pier, captivate your senses with a final stop at Shark Bay. Here, witness the graceful movements of blacktip reef sharks and majestic sea turtles gliding through the turquoise waters, adding a touch of magic to your unforgettable day of exploration. Bid farewell to the sun as it dips below the horizon, painting the sky in vibrant hues and etching this memory forever in your heart.
